As of 2010, the US mint started issuing coins that depicted significant sites and parks throughout the country. There were 56 coin variations in total and has not been decided yet, on whether or not this will continue beyond 2021.
These coins commemorate significant locations, refuges, or historical sites that define the story that is America. What better way to remember these places and times than to create a wearable item that can symbolize that.
Whether it be to remember a vacation spot you visited, honor a family member that took part in what made these sites historic, or to collect all of these important locations in your personal collection of wearable history, look no further than our coin rings to do just that.
Please be aware, in order to make these coins into rings the center-most portion of the ring will have 3/8" of material removed to create your ring.
HOW TO ORDER:
These rings come in sizes from 5 - 12 and will show the name of the historic site, state to which it was issued, and date on the outside of the ring. If you need to figure out how to size your finger please check out our instructions.
When ordering please leave in the notes if you would like your ring to be antiqued, which will highlight the embossed portions of the coin design and darken the remainder, or if you would like a high-polish of the ring, which will leave a shine to all parts of the ring.
All of the coins used in this time period during the mint of the National Parks Quarter Dollars are made from ~8% Nickel & Copper, due to this if you have a metal sensitivity please be aware of this. They may turn your finger green over time but this will occur with any non-precious metal.
